A great weekend of training ...... managed two straight days on the cycle turbo trainer in the garage! just need to up the amount of training some how. Went on the Wii fit for a spot of tennis and yoga!!! and plenty of other stuff on there too!
Managed to lose 5lb of fat in the past 2-3 weeks and got my weight and BMI down ......but still a long way to go.

The first week of new training schedule
A good first week of training, managed a jog every lunchtime, and also a couple of morning stints cycling on the turbo trainer in the garage.
Going to have a go at the 'Get fit to apply' training plan used when thinking of joining the Royal Marines......think I may be actually past the stage of a career in the Marines but the training plan could be a bit of fun.
Good to see that Tom has started some more training this week.....well done Tom. I need you to be super fit to give me a push!!!! lol
Well, it is saturday morning and need to get sorted for another run and a stint on the bike.
Hope to sort a few pics out soon and a link to the work in progress website for the tourdepeaks!!!

New Year and Challenge date Pencilled in!
So we move into 2011 and what a year it will prove to be.
A date is pencilled in the diary for August 12th as the start date!!!!!
The training is restarting in earnest now, and I am looking forward to the challenge of getting fit again following the over indulgence over the festive period and a very lethargic 2 or 3 months!
The determination is there from me, and so a start has been made using the Wii Fit from Christmas......a nice fresh 4 or 5 mile run this morning.....all to show how unfit I have got from being a lard arse!
Training program in place so now just need to execute.
Some news from the other day......I have been asked to be the guest speaker at the MS Society AGM in April, so I was proud to accept the invite.
Got the route planned, got the website to design over the next 2 or 3 weeks. and a plan to put in place to raise the profile once again and the sponsorship/fundraising.
I have been updating on Twitter but been very lapse on the Blog.....so if anyone is actually reading this then I will try to now be more regular with the updates!!!
